New Director of Small Group and individual Sales and Account Management
We are pleased to announce that Michael Rankin has joined the Kaiser Permanente sales team as the director of small group and individual sales and account management.
Mike has been in the health insurance industry for 25 years—the last 10 of which have been with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. He has a proven track record in membership growth in the capacity of Senior Account Executive, Regional Sales Manager and as Director of Sales for Individual and Small Group. Prior to working for Anthem, Mike worked as a national trainer for Long Term Care sales with New York Life and he also owned his own agency specializing in health insurance, disability insurance as well as Long Term Care Insurance.
Mike has earned his LUTCF designation and holds a BA degree from Westminster College in Fulton, Mo. For the past 15 years Mike has been a member and involved with Health Underwriters as one of the board of directors for CASHU, President of the Northern Colorado Association of Health Underwriters, and served as chairman on several committees for health underwriters. Mike has served as a Board member for the local Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, and Jaycees.
New Senior Account Executive
We are pleased to introduce the newest member of our Southern Colorado sales team, Michael Gaultney. Michael is ournewSenior Account Executive for Southern Colorado Large Group Sales. Michael comes to us with over 18 years experience in medical and ancillary benefit sales for such companies as Destiny Health, Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Mid-Atlantic Medical Services (a UnitedHealthcare company). Michael lives in Monument and is very familiar with the Southern Colorado and Denver communities.
Farewell
We are very sorry to inform you that Phil Grout, manager of broker relations/distribution channels will be leaving Kaiser Permanente for "an opportunity he couldn't refuse.” His last day will be Friday, August 22nd.
